Posthumous protocols

While some Dibble works are single editions, often the artist created work that he intended for the Dibble foundry to cast and complete up to a specified edition number.

Following the artist’s death, the Dibble foundry has continued to cast and complete the remaining works in these editions.

Each edition work is:

• Cast and finished in the same way as Dibble works released prior to the artist’s death.

• Made in the same workshop, from the same materials, using the same processes, as in the artist’s lifetime, under the direct supervision of Fran Dibble.

• Inscribed with the artist’s name, to positively identify the work as that of the artist.

• Dated with the year in which Dibble released the first work in the edition (ie; 2023 or earlier).
